Grayville, ILPURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENTUnder the direction of the Marketing Manager, responsible for the implementation of the energy marketing plan, the profitability of the energy department in the assigned territory, the supervision of the territory personnel, and customer service.
Responsible for calling on targeted customers and generating profitable sales, providing value-added energy products, including Liquid Fuels, Propane, Lube Oil and Grease, Energy Services, and recommendations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProvides leadership to the energy sales team by setting performance expectations, managing sales activities, and personally calling on key customers.
Works with salesmen and plant managers to train, assist, and assure optimum application performance.
Develops and implements marketing plans and sales strategies that generate profitable sales in the assigned territory.
Utilizes target marketing and professional sales techniques including the FS sales interview road map, energy management programs, emphasis of appropriate features and benefits, and contact management system when calling on patrons and prospects.
Develops territory and competitive analysis to maintain a current knowledge of the marketplace and the competition.
Analyzes Delivery Territories for Liquid Fuel and Propane within the assigned territory and makes recommendations to Management for consolidation or expansion of territories to maximize efficiency and profitability of the assigned territory.
Provides value-added energy products, services, and recommendations to patrons and prospects.
Conducts regular patron meetings on product and technical information.
Provides customer service by using oil testing, restocking and other programs, follows up on customer complaints, and seeks a reasonable win/win resolution.
Ensures the credit worthiness of customers, quotes prices and credit terms.
Promotes the use of credit programs as a sales tool and helps provide the required information to establish credit.
Works closely with the credit manager in developing programs and in collection of accounts receivable.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONSCollaborates with the Chief Operations Officer to ensure all equipment, rolling stock, and facilities are in good working order and managing fixed assets.
Serve as the backup for the energy sales and delivery personnel, as needed.
Develops beneficial relationships with required vendors for energy products.
Assists with the development of the company budget by forecasting sales volumes, projected margins, and expense items.
Assist in overseeing the safety and compliance programs and compliance with all federal, state, and local statutes for assigned employees and vehicles.
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTSNormally requires a college degree in agriculture, marketing, or other business-related discipline and at least 2 years of sales/marketing experience to demonstrate the ability to generate profitable sales in assigned territory.
Normally requires an Energy Management Specialist (EMS) certification or the ability to obtain one to demonstrate advanced energy sales training and experience.
Understanding of all energy products along with sales ability/persuasiveness, face-to-face selling skills, assertiveness, tenacity/persistence, resilience, competitive adeptness, credit worthiness, and product proficiency.
Demonstrated supervisory experience including orientation, coaching, counseling, and training and development, etc.

Proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Proven professional communication, persuasion, presentation, and customer service skills.
Demonstrated planning, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated math skills and the ability to calculate discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, etc.
Ability to use the computer to enhance business processes.
Demonstrated core competencies including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must have and maintain a CDL license with the required endorsements and a satisfactory driving record.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
